Who is Shawn Martin?
Shawn Martin Charlebois is a songwriter at heart. Growing up, he fell in love with the raw sounds of 90’s unplugged shows. Performances from Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains and STP were among his favorites.
The Ontario born artist released his first album in 2023 titled I’ll Be Damned. Inspired by life events, mental health, deep thinking and social issues, Shawn’s simple and raw lyrics leave an impact on the listener.
Always pursuing personal growth, Shawn gigs at local breweries, markets, private events and festivals. He considers playing live music to be one of life’s greatest pleasures especially when he rips his originals.
With an already impressive library, Shawn’s planning an EP release early 2026. This next piece of work is along side friends and fellow musicians Nate Douglas and Chris James. The three create some truly unique acoustic sounds.
